With Brian’s announcement, the McCall family now has three Citizen of the Year recipients which began when patriarch David McCall, Jr. won the prestigious title in 1957 and again in 1973.
Other past recipients at the event were Senator Florence Shapiro, Fortino “Tino” Trujillo, Jim Boswell, Bobby Ray, James & Betty Bell Muns, Mary Anne Seale, Ted Dickey, Phil Dyer, Phil Wentworth, Jean Newman, Ralph Stow, Mayor Pat Evans, Andre Davidson, and Mary Jo Dean.
